Alright, here's the scoop. As some of you may or may not know; when you marry a hot construction worker you will not a.) get rich quick and b.) have consistant work in a hairy economy. So St. George was quite literally eating us alive and we knew that something had to change so our little family could survive. We then started to research some options in state and out of state. In state would have offered a bandaid, but there was nothing long term. We then realized that a self sustained state was where the economy would be the least affected and the most stable. Alaska and Texas is where its at! I have done Alaska before and loved it but didn't love the snow, and it is far away from family. Long story short we had some friends move to Texas and love it so we said "Why not?" And here we are. We made the plunge and are praying that it works out. Jer has applied to 9 jobs in 2 days and we are hopeful that something will come up. There are also 2 preschools that are hiring nearby. The kids are having a blast. We are looking into schools tomorrow. Faith has discovered her inner cowgirl, Jax has been rolling around with a cap gun rifle in the back of his tricycle and Kyler has been riding his 4-wheeler all over. I have been snapping pictures like crazy so I will try my best to keep up with this stinkin' blog ;)
